In our weekly revolving fan column, this week we hear from Diana "Lady D Bucs Diva" Matli from Legae la batho, Polokwane in Limpopo.

 Great to have you today Lady D... Describe your character to us?

I am a Loving person, humble, vibrant, talkative, powerful Iron Lady, a resilient Die hard Orlando Pirates supporter & I Love Sport.

2. When did you start supporting Orlando Pirates? 

I was born a Buccaneer. I started to support and follow my team from as young as i can remember.

3. Who is your favorite player at the club, in current squad and of all time?

 In the current squad is Mpho Makola and the all time is 'Legs of thunder' Jerry Sikhosana 

4. What's been your best and your worst Orlando Pirates match you've watched?

The best match I have ever watched was when we came from behind from the 70th minute & beat Al Ahly 4-3 to advance to the CAF Confederations Cup final in 2015… Memorable moments.

The worst match I ever watched was losing in the CAF finals for the 2nd time & this time to Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia in 2015 Nov the 29th. It was a painful moment.

5. What's the best place to watch the team and why?

The only best place to watch the team is at the stadium because we sing, dance and cheer our players & to meet lovely n friendly Pirates supporters.

6. How many Orlando Pirates replicas do you own?

I own 23 and counting because each season I buy home and away jersey.

7. Are you happy with the players' commitment to the team?

Yes. They are doing their utmost best to make the supporters happy.

8. What changes would you like to see in the club?

The change I would like to see is a new technical team that will bring new tactical ideas to the club.

9. Which areas do you think urgently needs reinforcements?

Our defense in the team needs reinforcement. The legs of Rooi Mahamutsa & Siya Sangweni are ageing. We need fresh legs.

10. Where do you see Orlando Pirates finish on the log at the end of the season?

They will finish in the top 4, preferably position 2 so that we can qualify to play CAF again.

11. What message would you like to send to the team?

My message to the team is, perseverance is the mother of success. They can do more with team spirit. Nothing is impossible.

12. What message would you like to send to the fans?

Let us support the boys, the coach & his technical team in good and in bad times. Let’s STOP insulting our players and calling them names. To be a buccaneer is a calling.
