Orlando Pirates forum spoke to Gont from Atteridgeville, Pretoria about her love and passion for the Buccaneers. Let’s hear what she had to say…

1. Pirates Forum: Hey Gontse, Describe your character to us.

Gontse: Friendly, loving person and I just love meeting new people every day.

 

2. When did you start supporting Orlando Pirates?

Gontse: Well I grew up knowing Pirates is the only team cause that is all my family would talk about so ever since I have always be a Buccaneer... I’m a Buccaneer by birth.

3. Who is your favourite player at the club, in current squad and of all time?

Thabo Festival Matlaba and Jomo Sono.  

4. What have been your best and worst Orlando Pirates performance?

Gontse: Reaching CAF Champions League finale in 2013, I was bragging nonstop, when Thabo Matlaba scored that equalizer against Al Ahly it was priceless moments. I was like we got this then we went to Cairo it was the worst when we lost there.

5. What's the best place to watch the team? And why?

Gontse: Orlando Stadium... playing at home is always the best cause we usually win at home.

6. How many Orlando Pirates’ replicas do you own?

Gontse: I own 7+ Adidas never disappoint.

7. Are you happy with the players' commitment to the team?

Gontse: Absolutely, they shouldn't put pressure on themselves they must always play our normal game they can conquer.

8. What changes would you like to see in the club?

Gontse: None at all I believe in my team.

9. Which areas do you think urgently needs reinforcements?

Gontse: At the moment I see a solid squad everything is there, our defenders, Midfielders, strikers got that team work and they all scoring goals... I’m happy with them.

10. Where do you see Orlando Pirates finish on the log at the end of the season?

Gontse: Number 4 though I would have been very happy with number 2.

11. What message would you like to send to the team?

Gontse: Never lose hope we will forever be behind you no matter what we love you...

12. What message would you like to send to the fans?

Gontse: Let's keep supporting the team, they just need our support nothing more... losing is part of the game don't they out your frustration with violence... the team is trying just show support
