Defender Tercious Malepe has expressed his delight following his recent call up to the South Africa senior national team.
Malepe, who also captains the SA Under 20 side spoke of his surprise when he learned of his call up.“This call up came as a surprise but a pleasant surprise at that. We (players) all dream of representing our countries and personally this call up is one step closer for me realising my dream.” The hard tackling centre back has been selected in the provisional Bafana Bafana squad alongside fellow Under 20 and Orlando Pirates teammate Sandile Mthethwa, who is also pleased to be part of the senior national team setup.
